Languages (Japanese)
In Languages (Japanese), students learn:
- communication skills in the language being learnt
- an intercultural capability, and an understanding of the role of language and culture in communication
- a capability for reflection on language use and language learning.
Learning languages broadens students’ horizons in relation to the personal, social, cultural and employment opportunities that an increasingly interconnected and interdependent world presents.
Sports Carnivals and Inter-School Sport
Kippa-Ring State School host a number of sports carnivals throughout the year including Cross-Country and Athletics Carnival. Students in P-4 take part in a structured Swimming program each year. Students in Years 5-6 have the multiple opportunities to participate in Inter-School Sport over the course of the year.
