Systemic priorities

  1. Implementing Australian Curriculum through C2C.

  4. Increase 30% of students achieving Upper Two Bands on NAPLAN.

School priorities

  1. Whole reading approach using CARS and STARS (reading comprehension programs).  Literacy squads focus on comprehension skills.

  2. Engagement – differentiation of instruction; high expectations for all students.

  3. Pedagogical framework – explicit instruction; using student data to inform teaching practice.

  4. Quality transition program: Year 6 to high school.

  5. Extend productive partnerships with students, staff, parents and the community.
